Eni is recruiting an Aviation Supervisor, to be based in Luanda, Angola.
Duties
- Studying and advising on aviation operations, ensuring their technical efficiency and compliance with aeronautical safety rules and governmental regulations, regarding the logistics of chemical substances and other dangerous substances
- Monitoring the activities of all assets in which ENI has a stake, and are operated by other companies
- Studying and advising on Policies, procedures and rules regarding aircraft acquisition, operation, use and maintenance, in order to be included in contracts and analysing the performance of contracted aircraft companies
- Analysing the performance and maintenance of aircrafts, checking their compliance with what was planned, budget and contracts
- Ensuring safety and accident prevention in compliance with aviation regulations
- Investigating accidents and incidents with aircrafts and related activities, involving Company’s employees and contractors to determine the causes
- Negotiating and ensuring the management of air transport contracts
- Ensuring the implementation of safety audits
- Ensuring the preparation of monthly reports of payments made for air transport
Requisites
- Education at graduate level or higher in Aeronautical Engineering/Air Force Academy
- Pilot/captain certification of offshore helicopters and/or Certification as a commercial aircraft pilot/ ICAO certification/Helicopter certification
- At least 3-year work experience
- Fluency in Portuguese and English
- Knowledge of National and International Aviation Regulations
- Knowledge of the base aeronautical procedures and rules, namely safety
- Knowledge of Aircraft Performance and Maintenance and Aviation Safety and accident prevention
- Planning and organizational skills
- Innovation & negotiation skills
