Bureau Veritas is recruiting a Business Developer, to be based in Luanda, Angola.
Duties
- Establishes and maintains the Business developments in a productive and efficient manner
- Presents/markets Industry services to prospective clients through direct contact
- Records opportunities and sales activities through reports and consistently follows up on these in the CRM tool
- Responds to queries from customers, local and Africa management in a timely manner
- Creates sales projections and defines service objectives under the supervision of the business unit manager
- Prepares technical and financial proposals to the requests for quotation
- Collects and analyses commercial information in order to build market intelligence
- Shares client visit information with the Business Unit manager
- Creates new business contacts and organizes follow-up activities including Marketing activities (conference, exhibitions, Business associations events)
- Implements the commercial strategy as directed by the Industry Manager
- Maintains a link with the Regional Marketing & Sales Manager, to ensure the strategic alignment with the global business development
- Adheres and complies with the applicable policies in the company including the Code of Ethics and the QHSE guidelines
- Incorporates the excellence standards of the company in his/her day-to-day activities to promote an environment of quality, and demonstrates a personal commitment to excellence
Requisites
- 5 to 7 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the O&G sector
- Degree in Engineering or Marketing
- Experience in Inspections and maintenance of equipment
Well presented and spoken
- Excellent communication skills
- Financial Knowledge
- Technical knowledge of the Business
- Advanced use of Excell and Power Point
- Excellent Organization Skills
- Knowledge of the Oil Market in Angola
- Must be fluent in Portuguese and English, French is a bonus
- Strong commercial and Technical skills
