The First Group is recruiting a Business Development Manager, to be based in Luanda, Angola.
Duties
- Market awareness - identify key competition driving the market ie those offering high exposure profiles
- Assist in the preparation of marketing paraphernalia, providing structured input and ideas
- Prepare templates for standard client responses and corporate proposals
- Be the driving force in soliciting TFGAM’s entire Services Portfolio - introduction and relationship building with key decision makers
- Be vigilant on new and near completed projects or expansions in the Real Estate sector
- Solicit new business through face to face meetings, conducing site visits etc
- Browse through business broad sheets, Internet and attend local sector exhibitions
- Create and cultivate relationships with 3rd party agents and accommodation specialists
- Develop strong working relationships with TFGAM’s operations specialists’ incl engineers, admin and building managers Also work closely with The Matrix Leasing team
- Manage and maintain client relationships
- Network with key decision makers through social and business network groups
- Work closely with other members of the team to create effective solutions
- Manage risk analysis at each phase of your negotiations
- Prepare quality weekly reports. Maintain up to the minute records
- Forward planning weekly work schedule
- Effective time management
Requisites
- Highly self-motivated, career orientated team players with an energetic and enthusiastic approach to their work
- Strong Communication Skills
- Fluent in written and spoken English with a clear and concise accent
- Ability to work under pressure in a highly competitive environment
- Punctual, Courteous and Presentable
