Page Group is recruiting a Chief Financial Officer, to be based in Luanda, Angola.
Duties
- Developing networking with the local banks
- Achieving successful international bank transfers
- Enhancing control while improving efficiency of the finance/accounting department
- Monitoring the adherence of employees to the business guidelines, policies and procedures
- Ensuring that the department's operations are in compliance with local and international laws and regulations, industry standards and contractual agreements
- Improving the credit performance
- Liaising with third parties: government representatives, external auditors and tax administration
- Supporting and mentoring the finance team members across the Company
Requisites
- With a University degree or a qualification in accounting, finance or business, you have a minimum of 10 years in a similar senior finance role in Angola. With a very good network in the banking domain, you have a very good understanding of the Angolan financial and banking sector
- A proven track record will also include experience in fast paced and changing environments, international exposure, the ability to manage a variety of internal and external relationships, leadership and executing strategy to maximize operational performance.Fluency in Portuguese and in English is mandatory
