Country Manager – SPM

Schlumberger is recruiting a Country Manager - SPM, to be based in Luanda, Angola.

Duties
  • Builds and develops effective working relationships with all SPM stakeholders
  • Lead and coordinate the team and interface with SPM stakeholders, including partners, governments, and suppliers
  • Identify and validate the key parameters that define the range of short, medium, and long term development plan
  • Lead integration with multidisciplinary team to execute surface to subsurface development plan
  • Create appropriate scopes of work for any required studies, and manage subsequent engineering studies and design
  • Accountable for planning process for annual and long-term plans based on all business and technical inputs and variables including production volumes, level of activity, capital and operating expenditures, logistics, legal, procurement and contracting, operating income, cashflow, and profitability
  • Governance and stewardship of asset management planning processes in the asset
  • Oversee overall contracting and procurement strategies to match annual and long-term plans
  • Monitor the value added through investment initiatives
  • Play a key role in the development and execution of processes in production accounting, expenditure recognition, investments, profitability and project key performance indicators
  • Identifies areas where new and cost effective techniques can be applied
  • Responsible for raising technical exemptions and Management of Change if required during the conceptual evaluation
Requisites
  • Degree and qualification level: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering
  • Experience level: 25+ years
  • Strong knowledge of Angolan Oil & Gas laws and regulations
  • Hands on experience in production operations, well delivery, and field development large infrastructure projects
  • Minimum 15 years in management
  • Involvement in at least one of subsea, deepwater, FPSO or minimum platform facilities development
  • Need to have practical Operator experience in areas of asset planning
  • HSE leadership and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams
