UNDP is recruiting a Engagement of 4 Regional HIV Consultants, to be based in Benguela, Angola.
Duties
- Inform partners in the region on Global Fund HIV project targets and ensure full participation
- Together with provincial focal points and other partners, conduct quality assurance routine visits in units and ensure follow-up of recommendations from the quality assurance visits
- Supervise the data collection process from Health facilities and Municipal Health Repartitions (RMS) Review, check and correct data collected during AQDs through triangulation of data sources
- Support report compilation and ensure accuracy and timely submission of all data to INLS
- Coordinate the M & E capacity building activities in the Units at the provincial and national level in close collaboration with INLS and other partners to implement effective information systems
- Together with provincial focal points, train and teams of the units on basic clinical procedures in TARV, supply chain as well as the proper use of M & E materials including search records and monitoring of patients, records, tools of reporting and data management systems
- Provide technical assistance to health facilities to ensure data quality; conduct reports and routine analysis and evaluate the implementation of programs
- Follow-up on provincial and municipal HIV products reception, distribution and consumption reporting
- Organize stakeholder meetings in agreement with DPS and INLS
Requisites

- Completed secondary education or technical diploma required
- Supplementary training in Health Sciences, Social Sciences, Management or equivalent
- University Education desirable
- Minimum of 3 years work experience in programme implementation and management
- Relevant work experience in strengthening public healthcare national systems is required
- Work experience in a national or international organization desirable
- Experience of working and/or knowledge of the Global Fund and/or HIV is an asset
- Written and verbal fluency in Portuguese required and good English, desirable
- Academic/Professional Qualifications 20% 20
