About Our Client

• Our client is a multinanational Oil & Gas service company with operations all over the world. They are starting a new project and therefore they are looking for a HR Director for a Remote Site

Duties

• Own the talent strategy and plan aligned with the international business strategy and plan
• Organize the daily planning and activities on site in coordination with the project management team
• To deal and negotiate with the subcontractors
• Create an environment of continuous improvement in HR and within the business by establishing new approaches, policies, and procedures to continually improve efficiency; come to the table with a thorough point of view on issues while still having an open ear to opinions and suggestions
• Assesses, anticipates and identifies opportunities to deliver initiatives that support the achievement of strategic goals
• Leads regional HR team ensuring consistency and collaboration across the region and within the HR function
• Investigates and resolves the most complex employee relations issues
• Drive employee engagement and retention by continuously seeking feedback and developing strategies to address areas of concern
• Responsible for employment practice compliance
• Close working relationship with Human Resources international offices

Requisites

• We are looking for 10+ years of experience in Human Resources with a strong tenure and exposure to international business and the capacity to work under pressure and in a remote site
• It is a MUST to have managed large teams (1000 people minimum) and to speak at least operational Portuguese and English. This role requires a strong expertise managing the function and with the skill set of reporting at an executive level and communicating with high-level subcontractors and government
• Ability to manage multicultural teams and ability to report internationally
