Angola LNG is recruiting a Logistics Manager, to be based in Luanda, Angola.
Duties
- Implement and execute Warehouse Management processes and implement OE procedures in warehousing and cargo movements
- Ensure SAP is used timely and effectively for record keeping, especially for the following activities:
- Transport by 3rd Party Contractors
- Movement and safeguarding of plant materials
- Material Management (receiving, payment, inventory and usage)
- Material and equipment receiving and vendors payment
- Inventory
- Cargo deliveries
- Evaluate and manage 3rd party contractors involved in logistics activities
- Coordinate with Operations to ensure Maintenance Work Orders Management Process is integrated into Material Management to guarantee plant reliability in terms of material replenishment
- Coordinate with purchasing buyers to plan and ensure appropriate interface for recording of purchase order receipts and vendors payment
- Ensure materials are delivered on a timely, effective and efficient manner to the intended destination
- Execute the import/export administrative process, namely:
- Obtain export license & certificate of origin and quality
- Oversee customs payment
- Submit DAR to customs
- Obtain final clearance
- Maintain positive relationships with local customs authorities
- Participate in the discussion on measures to improve logistical operations' efficiency and effectiveness
- Be responsible for section inputs for the business plan
- Forecast, follow and track the section's operating and capital expenditures budget
- Support section staff recruiting, evaluation, learning and development
- SAP inventory, logistics, materials management and cargo export records
- Inventory Management report
- Operational Spare Parts (OSP) logistics and inventory
- OSP inventory movements
- Customs clearance documents
- Performance report for 3rd party logistics contractors'
