Michael Page is recruiting a Marine Superintendent, to be based in Negola, Angola.
Duties
- Following and assisting daily operations
- Performing crew approvals in accordance with the procedures set by the respective client
- Making sure that company Safety Management System is being applied in the perimeter of company operations
- Providing advice to vessel's Masters on operations
- Ensuring that vessels have on board the required procedures, certificates, publications, operating manuals and any documentation requested
- Assisting on any repair request
- Ensuring that contractual conditions are being respected
- Ensuring that all related HSE certificates for vessels and crew are valid and comply with company and clients' requirements
Requisites
- With a Master unlimited license, you have a minimum of 5 years experience in the oil and gas industry
- A previous experience as Master on board offshore vessels is mandatory
- Shore based background is a plus
- Fluency in English is required. Portuguese speaking is advantageous
