BP is recruiting a Marine Team Leader, to be based in Luanda, Angola.
Duties
- Ensures the safe reliable, compliant, and efficient provision of regional Marine services
- Drives and embeds a continuous improvement culture through the framework of OMS
- Builds and maintains Marine competence and capacity in the region
- Coaches local Marine team members in all aspects of Managing Marine operations
- Participate in internal and external forums or venues to Enhance marine safety within BP and the industry
- Support and deploy global Marine strategy within region in line with logistics priorities
- Drives value through effective prioritization and Functional planning
- Owns budget for Marine operations and delivery within its people Management
- Supports capability training and talent development in Marine
- Build and maintain succession plans for Marine organization
- Manages employee performance through annual objectives and reviews Standards, Policies, Processes
- Sets objectives and implements standards set for Marine team
- Drives understanding of and compliance to BP’s contractor management process
- Contributes toward group content within OMS and drives application of standardized Marine practices and Procedures in region
- Ensures compliance with international and local procedures and regulations Performance Management
- Support timely reporting and analysis of standardized Marine performance indicators and recommends performance Improvements steps to achieve safe, reliable and compliant operations
- Manages Marine contractors to ensure delivery is aligned with BP requirements and procedures & Operational Risk
- Owns Marine element of Logistics risk register; RAPs for high-level risks
- Drives Marine risk identification and management
- Provide resources and expertise to undertake accident and incident investigation services with a focus on
- Establishing root cause and applying preventative strategies for Marine
Execution
- Ensures safe, compliant, reliable and efficient service to customers
- Provides Technical support to regional marine operations, ensuring adherence to relevant policies and processes
- Manage interfaces with key stakeholders
Requisites
- Time management and planning experience
- Experience with Change Management process and Risk Assessment
- Project management experience and execution of Maintenance, operations and engineering projects
- Accredited with engineering / project management professional body
- Understanding and experience in schedule integration across multiple groups and multiple time horizons
