Eni is recruiting a Mechanical Engineer, to be based in Luanda, Angola.
Description
- Eni operates in Angola in oil andnatural gas exploration and production, and in oilfield services, constructionand engineering sector
- Angola West Hub and East Hub are two current majoroffshore oilfields located in Block 15/06 approximately 350 km north east ofLuanda operated by Eni; Both projects have similar deep water tiebacks toFPSOs
- The West Hub development successfully achieved first oil in late 2014the East Hub in 2017Eni has participation in Blocks 0, 14, 15, 3/05, 3/05 A,Lianzi
Duties
- Reviewing and approving the specification, design and supply of thedynamic and static mechanical equipment in offshore production facilities, aswell as in the contractors’ site, ensuring compliance with the project objectives,industry standards and best practices for safety, reliability and cost
- Supervising and coordinating the construction activities, ensuring that the highest HSEQ standards are kept throughout the project
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings, manuals, schemes or computer generated reports
- Supervising the contractors’ workforce, while implementing his tasks
Requisites
- Mechanical Engineering Degree (or equivalent)
- Ability to supervise and monitor Contractor workforce
- Experience in the development of projects, in the oil and gas industry, both at offshore and onshore facilities
- Full life cycle project experience designing and testing multiple types of mechanical equipment
- Fluent in English and Portuguese
