Project Critical Items Procurement Coordinator

Eni is recruiting a Project Critical Items Procurement Coordinator, to be based in Luanda, Angola.
Duties
  • Consulting vendors for carrying out purchases
  • Carrying out the management of service provision contracts, meeting the Company’s needs and ensuring compliance with legal instruments
  • Cooperating in concluding the corresponding contracts stating the purchasing conditions, namely delivery times, payment terms and responsibilities of customs and transport charges
  • Cooperating in the identification and development of long-term agreements with local and international vendors, ensuring regular supply of material, equipment, and consumables
  • Managing the whole contracting and purchasing process for materials, equipment, services, engineering, know-how and professional services, coordinated with all the other functions of public and local contracts to know the purchase cost, time and quality demands in accordance with the contracts, recommended practices and policies and procedures of Eni Angola
  • Ensuring value maximization and business risk minimization through the development of the purchasing contracts and strategies relevant to the operations of Eni Angola
  • Ensuring compliance of the purchasing activities and contracts with the applicable law and PSA and JOA requirements
  • Ensuring the auditability of all records ensuring proper filing of all purchasing documents
  • Contributing to the vendor qualification system, based on solid commercial, financial, technical and quality assurance principles
Requisites
  • Very good knowledge of procurement in the project critical item areas
  • Good knowledge of Procurement and purchasing
  • Knowledge of contract drafting laws
  • Knowledge of Vendor management processes
  • Knowledge of the national/international market and industry
  • Specific knowledge of products/goods categories, vendor quality management processes, Vendor Assessment
  • Knowledge of legal aspects, civil law, and contractual request, National/International regulations
  • Tendering procedures, environmental safety, contractual strategies, agréments
  • Knowledge of transportation methods, shipping methodologies, inspection methodologies, evaluation of economic comparisons
  • Fluent Portuguese and English
  • Computer knowledge from a user’s point of view
  • Education at the graduate level in Engineering, Business Management or Law
  • Extensive experience in the Oil and Gas Upstream area
