Maersk Line is recruiting a Safmarine Sales Representative, to be based in Luanda, Angola.
Duties
- To deliver a world class sales for all customers and to ensure a smooth execution of the end-to-end shipment lifecycle by working closely with the customer and internal teams
- Individual will have to demonstrate and live in line with our core values
- Hunt leads and follow up opportunities for new customers, lost or inactive accounts as well as regular accounts This includes conducting campaigns and sales promotions across customer opportunities
- Leverage face to face interaction would benefit the customers’ relationship or where large potential profitability has been identified
- Ensure all products and services are sold to the customer to maximise Safmarine profitability
- Build strong relationships with all stakeholders including off shore GSC team
- Be fully responsible for customer satisfaction and experience on interaction with your customers, address any Customer Experience Service follow-up with clients in a timely manner
- Full understanding of customer’s business drivers, needs, decision makers and requirements, define value proposition in accordance with its specific segmentation/marketplace
- Build strong relationships with origin sales
- Manage sales pipeline, segmentation and accurate forecasting
- Actively promotes the use of ECOM platforms and apps
- Step in to support other functions to improve business processes e.g. consistent failure to pay within to pay within credit terms
- Promoting the Safmarine Brand in daily interactions through various channels and agreed media
- Salesforce updates (as per minimum standard requiremtes)
Manage SCOPE team to ensure that rates are contracting are being maintained
- Key Measures:
- Yield (CY)
- Weekly call volumes aligned with Sales Minimum Standards
- Persuasive selling Model and other Sales Call requirements met weekly
