Duties
- Forecast security safety plan & monitor development paces on regulation with MOI
- Ensure, controls Environment & business risk are correctly & proactively managed
- To plan, conduct assessment & mitigate risks
- Ensure that illicit trade is curbed in the Angolan market is Angolan market; thus, protect neighbouring markets
- Provide the business with stable & consistent as well as effective information technology platform to operate
- Provide the business with all the necessary facilities & working tools
- Provide leadership to the business as a Top Team member
- Contribute to the development and realization of integrated business strategies and plans that ensure sustained growth profitability and responsibility
- Establish and maintain an effective Risk Management process in Angola including identifying & mitigating business security risks & ensuring that other functional business risks are identified & timely mitigated
- Build up an efficient & planned fleet management, implement and maintain company’s vehicle using BAT policy
- Implement and manage security policies and procedures for the protection of Company personnel/families/visitors, assets, information, property and business operations activities, as well as tobacco products in respect of their transportation, manufacture, storage and distribution
- Develop, implement and manage Country AIT programmes to include management of a dynamic programme of intelligence gathering to identify those involved in illicit Trade and implementing actions to disrupt Illicit Trade in the end-market
- Prepare, maintain, and test the Business Continuity Plans to include Contingency plans for Civil and Military Unrest, and Product Recall, loss of distributor, key staff and office, etc.
- Investigate allegations of fraud, and if/when proven, recover the company’s funds and prosecute the perpetrators
- Act as the Secretary to Angola Crisis Management Team as well as the Risk Management Committee and the Security Committee
Requisites
- 3-5 years relevant experience in a Security related background as line manager
- University degree Security, Commercial
- EHS certificate - with a focus on Security
- Good communication and networking skills
