Senior Accountant

Robert Walters is recruiting a Senior Accountant, to be based in Negola, Angola.

Duties

• Maintain USGaap on monthly basis
• Maintain Statutory books on annual basis
• Prepare inputs for statutory financial statements
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors
• Tax, payroll and social charges follow-up
• Prepare annual reports for labour and tax administrations
• Maintain legal, tax, employees and social returns folders
• Create new suppliers and bank accounts in Oracle AP
• Settle local suppliers invoices and employees ERs, with the help of external accounting firm

Requisites

• Degree with major in Accounting, Finance or Economics
• 5+ years of accounting and/or finance experience
• Experience providing high level customer service, managing highly confidential materials and administrative tasks
• Knowledge of Oracle and Business Objects is helpful
• Strong knowledge of principles, procedures, and practices of Angolan and US general accounting
• Fluent in Portuguese, spoken and written English is a plus
