GE Digital is recruiting a Site IT Ops Leader, to be based in Luanda, Angola.
Duties
- The Site IT Operations Leader will own IT infrastructure and services at each GE Digital CoreTech managed sites; This person will have to work with CoreTech teams and different Businesses & IT Leaders from different GE businesses to provide best IT experience to the business users
- Work with business IT and shared service team to lead Mid-Large size IT infrastructure projects
- Lead day-to-day IT operation issues, drive support team to resolution; Be focal person to support our customers’ needs
- Assist businesses to build IT infrastructure projects from discovery, design and implementation phases
- Work with Property team to support rooftop synergy initiatives
- Drive Global initiatives with team to improve User experience/ IT Simplification for end users
- Plan and implement programs for continuous improvement of the local IT Processes
- Create and own the process for providing VIP service support to senior management at different sites for different businesses
- Work towards driving infrastructure capacity planning for the CoreTech supported sites and the region
- Work with business teams for SII planning for IT spend on particular sites
- Handling chargeback services for IT service consumption back to businesses at shared roof top sites 100046007
Requisites
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering is preferred
- At least 3 additional years of experience in an IT infrastructure environment with strong technical expertise in the areas of Compute, Network, Client, and Collaboration tools
- ITIL Certification is an advantage
- Strong Leadership skills with demonstrated ability to motivate others and achieve results
- Strong program management skills including project initiation, scoping, resourcing, scheduling, budgeting
- Excellent communication skills
- Good knowledge of CoreTech IT Services, Processes and Standards
- Commitment for process improvement, customer focused, establish priorities
- Effective cross-functional working
- Work in matrix environment
- Ability to act strategically and deliver local decisions aligned with a Global approach
- Identify and oversee business process driven technology improvements
- Ability to independently drive activities whilst identifying and escalating issues appropriately
