Newrest is recruiting a Warehouse Manager, to be based in Luanda, Angola.
Duties
- Plan and manage key resources
- Assume responsibility for the shift
- Ensuring stock levels are maintained to the required levels
- Stock is rotated to get maximum self-life
- Suggest stock order from suppliers to meet the operational demands
- Ensuring schedules are planned
- All good meets the required standard before leaving the warehouse
- Prepare written reports for supply chain manager
- Ensuring processes are adhered to at all time
- Checking relevant paperwork is completed on time and in full
- Ensure all staff are appraised annually
- Conduct disciplinary/grievances meetings as and when required
- Comply other duties which are requested by your manager
Requisites
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in warehousing and/or food handling at least 2 years at supervisory level or above
- Excellent communication skills
- Portuguese fluent and English or French good knowledge
- Rigorous
- Resistance to stressful situations
- Well organized, rigorous and methodical but enough adaptability to local constraints
- Operational awareness
- Good knowledge and understanding of computer skills and/or Winrest
- Understanding of HACCP and good QHSE practices
- Warehouse experience is essential

- IFS training dependant on activity within department
