Airswift is recruiting for its client an Analyser & Metering Tech, to be based in Negola, Angola.
Duties
- Responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of all online Analyzer and Metering systems. (These include, but are not limited to auxiliary equipment, local PLCs, Local Control Panels, gas and liquid sample conditioning techniques and custody transfer meters)
- Responsible for fault diagnostics and repairs of all online Analyzer and Metering equipment in a safe manner in line with company procedures and practices
- Responsibility for the overall integrity and reliability of all online Analyzer and Metering systems forfacility
- Responsible for the routine calibrations and testing of all field metering equipment, analyzers & associated instruments. This will include but not limited to:
- Maintenance, repair, installation, trouble shooting, calibration, validation, custody transfer, flow meter proving
- Review and predict routine maintenance, shutdown maintenance requirements for the facility. Communicate progress on tasks and objectives to Analyzer & Metering Team Lead on a regular basis
- Proactively participate in safety Processes; Incident and Injury Free Culture (i.e. ESE, STOP, JSAs, RCAs and SWA)
- Capture & report findings in online analyzers, laboratory analyzers & metering systems, update calibration reports, SAP notifications/WO, time reports
- Use of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), SAP, PI, LIMS and SQC
- Knowledgeable in cause & effects, criticality of online Analyzer and Metering equipment, understanding of Process
- Prepare & review maintenance procedures, loading procedures, critical spares, start-up spares, consumables, PM review
- Working knowledge of Analyzers. Gas Chromatographs, H2S, Moisture, CO2, Oxygen, combustibles, RVP, LNG probe & sampler, Electrochemical sensors, emission monitoring systems, water quality analyzers, associated sample conditioning, flow meters (Ultrasonic, venture, PD, orifice, etc.), flow computers & associated equipment's in metering skid
- Participate in plant improvement efforts utilizing online Analyzer and Metering systems
- Identify, recommend obsolete & bad actors to Analyzer & Metering Team Lead
Serve as a specialist on the design, installation, commissioning and maintenance of complex or critical online Analyzer and Metering systems and associated equipment's
- Estimates material and labor requirements for assigned jobs
- Prepares material requisitions for approval, plans and lays out work in accordance with analyzer & metering work requirements utilizing drawings, sketches, and manuals as necessary. Directs installation, adjustment and repair work
- Reviews work in progress and completes task in compliance with standards of quality and safety
- Reports equipment and required documentation changes in line with MOC procedures. Maintains calibration records, calibration gas certificates & other documents related to analyzer & metering equipment's in safe custody
- Plans preventive maintenance activities and ensures an adequate supply of parts is on hand
- Diagnostics and repairs faulty complex or critical systems and equipment. Work with laboratory personnel in resolving any discrepancy in readings between analyzers & Lab
Requisites
- English (fluent), Portuguese (preferred)
- Proficient in Field Instrumentation
- Good in ICSS
- Compex certified
- Functional Safety knowledge
- Knowledge in process Analysers
- Minimum 5 to 8 years as maintenance Technician on a major onshore LNG, Refinery or petrochemical operating facility
- Familiar with applicable Industry Codes, Company's Guidelines and Best Practices
- Field Instrumentation online Analyzer and Metering systems Level
