Grupo Epalmo is recruiting a Assistance to Security Supervision and Management Services, to be based in Luanda, Angola.
Duties
- Continuous assessment of the level of risk in areas in Angola where employees have to work and where there are company assets (onshore operations, industrial plants, offices, homes)
- Definition, control and implementation of the security policy through specialized Angolan companies, on 2 main sites (Luanda, Luanda-Sul) with a daily manpower of 1000 expatriates (including families) and 300 men/day for Luanda and Luanda-Sul
- Development and periodic update of the subsidiary's security instructions, to ensure constant safety for the people and the goods
- Definition of the safety zone - Development, update and follow-up of the general and maritime security (application of ISPS code)
- Follow-up and update of the subsidiary's crisis and evacuation plan
- Animation and control of the crisis organization by authority invested in him by the General management
- Carrying out any security survey or audit requested by the General management
- Intervention for any issue related to general and maritime security, advise operational managements and validation of the precautionary measures that they may have to implement
- In Luanda and Luanda-Sul, definition and control of the execution of the missions allowing to ensure the safety of the people and the goods by means of specialized service companies (security and control of the access to the sites, escorts, assistance at the airport and the port for the passengers traveling to offshore sites)
- Follow-up of compliance with the Group safety and security instructions, in particular by the contractors
- Liaison with the partners and the local authorities, in particular armed forces and police
Requisites
- Ex military, gendarmerie, police or commercial security experience essential
- Communication effectively and coherently in written and verbal form and at all levels of an organization
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of the security industry, the threats posed to western entities and personnel in hostile environments and the measures and processes which can be implemented in order to mitigate against them
- Assistance under pressure and to strict timelines and milestones with regular interaction at board level, coordination of a program of set deliverables through an appropriately structured variety of means that include programming, presentation, detailed written reports/plans and physical example
- Ability to think at the operational level within the immediate environment and to execute plans effectively at the tactical level
- Training: Defensive Driving
- Fluent in French and a good level in English. Portuguese is a plus
- Experience in "Oil and Gas" (any experience with COMPANY or in an industrial project would be appreciate)
- Experience in Africa (experience in Angola would be appreciate)
- Status: Resident or Rotation
