World Vision is recruiting a Cashier, to be based in Negola, Angola.
Duties
- Petty Cash custodian; Prepare Cash Count & Petty cash replenishment in accordance with WV guidelines
- Process all payment requests and employee expense reports ensuring completeness of supporting documentation/authorization. Includes preparation of disbursement vouchers using voucher interface, checks, letters of authorities & transfer letters
- Ensure that disbursement vouchers (CDVs) are completely filed and voucher interface is submitted for Sunsystems import
- Process receipts from staff and ensure these are either deposited in the bank and/or recorded in the petty cash book as applicable. Includes preparation of deposit vouchers
- Ensure that deposit vouchers (DVs) are filed completely filed and voucher interface are submitted for Sunsystems import
- Daily cash monitoring of cash in bank Kwz and USD
- Assist in the finance administration, audits as well as assist in the maintenance of WV databases (GEMS, LDRs, AP)
Requisites
- Diploma/Degree in Accounting preferred
- Must have strong computer skills. Knowledge of computerized accounting packages
- Must have at least two year’s experience in an Accounts department, with experience of performing bookkeeping and account reconciliations
