BP is recruiting a Category Management Specialist IP Angola, to be based in Luanda, Angola.
Duties
- Responsible for providing dedicated procurement, programme and stakeholder management support for the hub or at site, based on sound procurement management knowledge, and conducting day-to-day (non-category aligned) procurement execution activities in order to meet the Service Level Agreements and Operational Level Agreements for procurement operations
- Develops and executes local Sourcing and contract strategies along with the Line stakeholder
- Provides local market, supply and demand insights to internal IP stakeholders to inform future contract strategy development
- Support the development and implementation of cross-category regional procurement strategies, processes and plans
- Performs Supplier Management activities, which may include changes to contracts, extensions, disputes and claims, on boarding contract holders and suppliers, receiving goods and services, contract administration and exit
- Supports implementation of Regional Local Content Plan
- Conducts contract negotiation prior and post award
- Acts as a business interface for local contract owners/suppliers and/or a broad range of business stakeholders, providing updates, answering queries and remedying issues.
- Prepares and submit appropriate documentation to obtain contract internal and external approvals
- Manages suppliers relationship and acts as an interface with other BP areas
- Manages and analyzing contract expenditure through approved systems to inform future sourcing initiatives
- Complies with BP's Code of Conduct and models BP's Values & Behaviours
Requisites
- Degree in Economics, Management, Law or other related relevant disciplines
- CIPS certification or equivalent supply chain certificate
- 3 + Years experience in Procurement and Supply Chain (Category Management) in Oil and Gas industry
- Angolan nationality (required)
