BP is recruiting a Certification Specialist, to be based in Luanda, Angola.
Duties
- Working with engineering management
- Implements the System Handover Management (SHM)
- Controls the (Handover Completion Pack) HCP contents definition & compilation
- Receiving required record sets for entry into the SHM database (project completion system) for certification tracking from construction authority, installation authority, or pre-commissioning/commissioning authority
- Validation of record sets using correct level of discipline engineers either supplied by contractors/client or by certification group
- Audits the ITR check sheets of data sets prior to and after handover
- Entering or overseeing entry of data in SHM database or other
- Overseeing compilation of HCPs (e.g., system handover books) within work packs
- Identifying and agreeing the list of responsible engineers for signing record sets during construction/installation phase, commissioning phase and final acceptance authorities from operations group
- Inputting Punchlist item details into SHM database or other, plus maintain current status of Punchlists & Punchlist items. Ensure Punchlists are filed in their correct HCP
- Inputting details of TQs, DVR's, and MOCs into SHM database, plus maintain current status of these items
- Verifying certification certificates are properly signed off and data is entered into SHM database or other, upon certificate completion. Ensure certificates are in their correct HCP
- Having custody and responsibility to ensure that data in certification database is current and accurately reflects contents and status of HCPs
- Providing management of all groups with status reports of contents and progress of record sets, including I&T activities and handover or system ownership status
- Interface with FPSO handovers, for implementation of subsea scope at these interface points
- Ensure certification procedures and guide lines are in place which comply with BP policy
- Create and manage Tag input and verify with BP information management systems
- Provide training for all involved with certification, introduction training for discipline challengers
- Responsible for Certification and Final Handover to client
- Other works as requested by the QA Manager
Requisites
- Degree (or equivalent qualification) in Mechanical Engineering
- Previous QA/QC experience
- Computer literacy and job specific software proficiency required
- Presentation and Training skills required
- Knowledge of Subsea hardware and discipline engineering
- Should be extensively experienced at an appropriate level within the subsea/ topsides oil & gas industry
