Robert Walters is recruiting a Commercial Director, to be based in Luanda, Angola.
Duties
- The Commercial Director will develop, lead and manage all commercial activities of the business
- He/She will be responsible for implementing an innovative, growth focused commercial strategy, focusing primarily on new product areas and emerging markets
- The Commercial Director will also ensure that profitable business growth is accelerated and that commercial success is achieved
- Develop commercial strategy to drive the growth of the business
- Manage the sales, distribution and marketing team as well as the overall commercial budget
- Drive the achievement of all KPIs
- Identify business opportunities in marketing, sales and branding
- Keep track of and translate market trends into sound commercial strategy and business plans
- Review and track the monthly report on sales, competition and market share
Requisites
- Degree level education
- Strong background in FMCG account management (sales, marketing and commercial strategy formulation and implementation)
- Proven track record of success in commercial management within a similar FMCG business
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent people management skills
- Fluent in Portuguese
- Open to nationality
