Aker Solutions is recruiting a Field Support Engineer, to be based in Luanda, Angola.
Duties
- Prepare the technical content of fixed-price proposals, budget proposals and studies, including clarification of technical proposals
- Ensure that each technical area of the project is communicated adequately to guarantee the project’s timely implementation
- Ensure that all changes made during subsequent phases of the project are appropriately reviewed and monitored
- Review the technical requirements of tenders in his/her specific area and suggest the best technical solution
- Accurately report engineering queries, NCR’s and maintain a log
Prepare the technical proposal for inclusion in the tender
- Formulate clarification requests on client proposals
- Implement and manage projects received by the department
- Assist the line manager, take charge of project design and ensure that what is being built corresponds to what has been planned
Requisites
- University degree in Engineering
- 5-10 years related experience
- Previous oilfield experience and drilling operations, preferred
- Fluent in Portuguese and English
- User-level IT skills
- Good knowledge of customer service and support practices and services
