Puma Energy is recruiting a Finance Controller, to be based in Luanda, Angola.
Duties
- Direct and coordinate company financial planning and budget management functions
- Recommend benchmarks for measuring the financial and operating performance of divisions and departments
- Ensure that the result is accurate and complies to General Accounting Standards Liaise with Regional office to maintain the integrity of system and make sure that users are properly using Navision according to Group Standards
- Review and maintenance of internal control systems and ensure that they are strong and effective
- Work with management team to develop procedures and guidelines for safeguarding company assets
- In coordination with BSM monitors and controls that margins (Per Business segment/customer/product) in Navision/Qlikview is accurate on daily basis
- Monitor and analyze monthly/weekly/daily company results against budget in HFM
Manage the preparation of financial outlooks and financial forecasts

- Ability to analyze and document processes
- Ability to communicate financial information to non -finance personnel
- Strong leadership
- Ability to deliver deadlines
- Have initiative and enthusiasm
- Keen to take on responsibility
- Able to work under pressure, be flexible and meet tight deadlines
- Good organizational skills, able to plan personal workload and ensure that colleagues deliver to agreed timescales
- Excellent Excel skills including pivot tables, graphs and data analysis
- Comfortable working with multiple IT systems – MS Office, Navision, etc
- Knowledge of database systems would be advantageous
- Previous experience within cost control is desirable
- A minimum of 5/10 years of experience in an industrial business. Oil industry experience is preferred
- Strong experience in internal control is desirable
