Newrest is recruiting a Financial Controller, to be based in Luanda, Angola.
Duties
- COS management in order to streamline the unit working
- Identify cost centers or activities were productivity and profitability should be improved
- Adjust our working processes to fit to project specificities and improve productivity
- Monitoring significant changes during the year in the unit or cost centers: activities, prices, costs, openings, closings
- Ensure Newrest financial processes are well implemented and followed
- Ensure financial data are timely and qualitatively reported
- Achieve simulations, forecasts and studies in order to meet unit manager, general manager, headquarter requirements Achieve internal audits in collaboration with headquarter internal auditor
- Propose correctives actions or adjustment plans
Requisites
- Minimum 3 years of experience in financial positions
- English, Portuguese and French fluent
- Thorough knowledge of Excel
- Catering and/or remote sites knowledge is a critical asset
- Hands-on personality
- Autonomy, work dedication, time management and working under stress situation are key qualifications to succeed in this position
