CA Global Africa Recruitment is recruiting a Financial Controller (Retai/Budgets/Portuguese), to be based in Luanda, Angola.
Duties
- Organize and coordinate the business cycle, particularly budgets, plans and monthly performance reviews
- Analyse and explain all management cycle results
- Offer suggestions for improving the ORA’s financial performance
- Analyse the monthly P&L and propose action plans for improvement. Monitor the realisation of these action plans
- Special focus on distribution costs and margin management
- Ensure the application of procedures via business/position management auditors
- Anticipate any event likely to impact results, and suggests solutions
- Ensure the profitability of all expenditure or investment commitments (Business Case)
Requisites
- University Degree in Finance or equivalent
- Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience
- Previous experience at a multinational company is a must
- Previous experience in retail is a prerequisite
- Excellent understanding of the retail environment
- Fluent in English, written and spoken Portuguese is a plus
- High level of accuracy and punctuality
- Good organizational and excellent communication skills
- Ready to travel according to the operational needs (Inventory)
