Airswift is recruiting a Fixed Equipment Specialist, to be based in Negola, Angola.
Duties
- Coordinates the Risk Based Inspection (RBI) program in assigned area of the LNG Plant
- Manages and is the owner of the Inspection Management Software (Visions)
- Assures that written histories for all inspected equipment in assigned area are maintained in the RBI database
- Evaluates inspection results to determine equipment condition and future inspection activities
- Monitors fixed equipment in assigned areas to ensure equipment is safe for continued operation
- Reviews new equipment for compliance with industry codes and company standards
- Develops and updates equipment inspections plans
- Develops and implements a routine NDT (Non Destructive Testing) program for assigned area
- Reviews risk based inspection (RBI) plans for piping and equipment in assigned area
- Provides recommendations for repairs, and assuring the inspection records are updated in the appropriate reliability database
Requisites
- Minimum 8-10 years diversified supervisory level experience in a Petrochemical process or LNG plant, including shutdown planning/preparation, execution & start-up
- Extensive experience of all equipment and systems, associated with the Utilities & Process Hydrocarbons plants Oil and Gas Industry, with shutdown focused work experience
- Experience in mentoring/training junior staff on a development program
- Minimum competence level:
- Will have at least current API certification on API-510, API-570 and API-653
- Must be a certified welding inspector (QC1-96 or equivalent)
- Inspection Software (e.g Visions) - Advanced (teach others)
- SAP - PM, MM - Knowledgeable
- IT - MS Office, MS Excel, MS Database - Knowledgeable
- Proficient English language level
- Computer literate (MS Office), including use of maintenance management system SAP PM Modules, Inspection Management Software (such as Visions)
- Will have at least current API certification on API-510, API-570 and API- 653
- Must be a certified welding inspector (QC1-96 or equivalent)
- Good written and spoken communication skills in English
