Sacyr is recruiting a HR Manager, to be based in Luanda, Angola.
Duties
- Create and implement people strategies and practices in alignment with corporate guidelines, ensuring a consistent approach to all HR practices across the system
- Act as a key player in Sacyr´s global HR team, lead and participate in cross-company people projects fostering innovation and leading edge practices
- Understand regional business goals and recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to boost continual improvements in business objectives, productivity and development of HR within the country
- Influence cultural evolution through talent acquisition, rewards systems, employee engagement, leadership development, talent diversity, and creating an inclusive environment
- Manage and provide support in the areas of contract negotiation, contract administration, labor relations, payroll, safety and positive employee relations
- Design and deliver regional talent management programmes and initiatives, in collaboration with the different People and Talent Area Leads and Business Partners , in order to develop and retain the best talent and build the capabilities we need for the future
- Partner with business leaders to drive the people and organization agenda
- Align your work, initiatives, programs, and projects to business drivers and strategy, using systems models, diagnostics, and data to analyze organizational problems and provide solutions
- Support the regional succession planning process, lead succession planning meetings and ensure development plans are created and executed on an ongoing basis
- Be a constant reference for Sacyr´s culture and core values
- Actively engage with employees at all levels of the organization
Requisites
- +7 years of progressive experience and leadership in People and Talent Management roles
- Bachelor Degree from an accredited university; MBA or Master preferred
- Strong knowledge about Angola's labour Law will be essential
- Proven track record in a similar sector and experience working in multinational companies and matrix organizations, with multi country responsibilities
- Experience with start ups and downsizing processes will be well regarded
- Ability to partner across all HR disciplines/functions to effectively manage and deliver HR Programs in a complex business environment (e.g., annual rewards, promotions, performance and development, labor relations and other rhythm of business activities)
- Strong negotiation and communication skills across all levels of the organization
- Experience in managing more than one country will be a plus
- Ability to recognize trends and identify systemic approaches to solving problems
- Fluent in English
- Client oriented and with experience dealing with different services providers
- High level of personal and professional ethics
- International mobility
