BP is recruiting a Maintenance Team Leader, to be based in Luanda, Angola.
Duties
- Responsible to the Operations Team Leader for the delivery of all maintenance activities onboard the FPSO. Deliver safe, reliable operations the “BP Way”
- Lead by example, provide direction and leadership to the workforce
- Participate in facility incident investigations Execution ownership of integrated Facility 2 week Plan
- Executes the 2 week maintenance plan and any emergent work
- Advises OTL/OIM on work prioritisation
- Notifies OTL of emergent work entering 2wk Facility Plan
- Ensures execution per Upstream Defined Practice(s)
- Manages QA and verification of maintenance plans Drive site/installation execution efficiency
- Ensures right people, right place, right skills to deliver maintenance technician competency progression
- Utilizes CI to enhance core crew and contractor productive man-hours
- Responsible for ensuring effectiveness of 3rd party maintenance providers including effective contract management Drive production improvement
- Accountable for providing technician resources to support investigate all unplanned production losses; acts directly on breakdown losses or requests assistance from OTL
- Provides input to, and challenge of, items in the TAR work list in accordance w/ requirements of Upstream TAR Strategy
Requisites
- Extensive knowledge of Safe systems of Work including permit to work, maintenance management systems, sparing strategies, planning, risk assessments
- Knowledge of the principals and application of Integrity management
- Proven coaching skills with a track record of developing technicians and supervisors
- Experience in working with vendors and performance feedback
- Time spent in a Supervisory / lead role. Angolan Nationality
- It is preferred but not essential that the candidate will have previous experience of: Offshore Operations on a Floating, Production Storage & offloading installation
- A Maximo super user
- Experience in the development and delivery of maintenance management systems
- Experience in working with different cultures
