Brunel is recruiting a Mechanical Engineer - Heavy Duty Gas Turbines, to be based in Negola, Angola.
Duties
- Provide customers with technical direction and support on vendor products
- Take direction from client to implement software changes to turbine, taking responsibility for directing lower level craft labour to perform the changes
- Sign off on all changes implemented
- Complete standard service reports, invoicing packages, and other administrative requirements
- Drive customer satisfaction through commitment to quality
- Monitor site safety during project execution
- Ensure all parts needed for the job are shipped to the site
- Workforce supervision during installation to ensure that the customer’s contractors are working properly
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requisites
- Ideal candidates will have tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering and extensive experience with the installation and commissioning of HD gas turbines
- You should also have good references that verify a sound employment history and safe working record and must be in good health and be able to pass a pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol screen
