Cummins Inc. is recruiting a Office Manger/ PA, to be based in Luanda, Angola.
Duties
- Supervises the maintenance and alteration of office areas and equipment, as well as layout, arrangement and housekeeping of office facilities
- Negotiates the purchase of office supplies and furniture, office equipment, etc, for the entire staff in accordance with company purchasing policies and budgetary restrictions
- Supervises the maintenance of office equipment, including copier, fax machine, etc. Maintenance of utilities – electrical, plumbing etc
- Responsible for making travel arrangements as requested
- Responsibility for Health & Safety – 16.2 – ensure compliance with Cummins SHEQ policy
- Read and analyze incoming memos, submissions and reports to determine their significance and plan their distribution
- Receive all incoming calls and address as appropriate
- Open, sort and distribute incoming correspondence including faxes and email
- Organise of office meetings and functions This includes compiling agendas and writing minutes

- Personal assistant duties
- Managing and maintain effective diary for the MD & GM
- Read and analyze incoming memos, submissions and reports to determine their significance and plan their distribution
- Receive incoming calls and address as appropriate
- Responsibility for Health & Safety – 16.2 – ensure compliance with Cummins SHEQ policy
- Bachelor’s degree in either a technical or commercial discipline or extensive relevant education/experience
