Grupo Epalmo is recruiting a Paediatrics Doctor, to be based in Luanda, Angola.
Duties
- Integrate and apply the TEPA HSE general rules
- Participates in establishing and promoting the Affiliate HSE referential in their area of competences
- Ensure the pediatrics consultation, with appointment, two half days weekly
- Execute, as part of the consultation, the follow-up of the awakening and fostering of the children
- Ensure the follow-up of mandatory vaccinations and treat pathologies of patients under 15 years of age
- Reassure and inform parents
- Ensure a preventive counseling mission for parents on everything concerning education, feeding or hygiene
- Offer their specialized knowledge at the Medical Chief request for hospitalized patients
- Register in writing their opinion in the patient's file
- Respects the service regulations
- Participate in the health costs cutting, using a rational use control of products and materials, making justified and documented complementary tests requests, thoroughly preparing medical prescriptions
- Respect the patient's privacy and the medical confidentiality
Requisites
- Medicine Diploma, qualification in Pediatrics with 10 years uninterrupted experience
- Enrollment in the Angolan Medical Association
- Experience in the local and international (where possible) context
- Experience in prevention actions
- Good knowledge and good relationship with the local and international medical network
- Be patient, polite with the children and diplomatic with the parents
- Able to analyze situations, work in a multidisciplinary and multicultural team
- Portuguese and English or French: read and writing
