Robert Walters is recruiting a Senior Accountant, to be based in Negola, Angola.
Duties
- Maintain USGaap on monthly basis
- Maintain Statutory books on annual basis
- Prepare inputs for statutory financial statements
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors
- Tax, payroll and social charges follow-up
- Prepare annual reports for labour and tax administrations
- Maintain legal, tax, employees and social returns folders
- Create new suppliers and bank accounts in Oracle AP
- Settle local suppliers invoices and employees ERs, with the help of external accounting firm
Requisites
- Degree with major in Accounting, Finance or Economics
- 5+ years of accounting and/or finance experience
- Experience providing high level customer service, managing highly confidential materials and administrative tasks
- Knowledge of Oracle and Business Objects is helpful
- Strong knowledge of principles, procedures, and practices of Angolan and US general accounting
- Fluent in Portuguese, spoken and written English is a plus
