Millar Cameron is recruiting a Senior Internal Auditor, to be based in Luanda, Angola.
Duties
- Monitor the effective handling of the initial audit planning
- Lead and conduct exit meetings with auditees to share feedback and discuss preliminary findings
- Report audit observations, non-conformities and conclusions truthfully and accurately in order to enhance the value of the audit process through continuous improvement and corrective actions
- Oversee the Implementation of the approved departmental policies, processes, procedures
- Review and test the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls
- Pro-actively signal and analyze situations and developments
- Communicate all relevant policies, procedures and work instructions to be followed to all business area managers
Requisites
- Ability to observe and understand business processes ensuring processes are documented completely and accurately
- Ability to apply audit standards through practical application
- Possess an appropriate combination of technical expertise in fields such as auditing, finance, technology, operations, or investigations
- Must have experience in retail, wholesale or FMCG industry
- Ability to flourish in a fast-paced, complex environment and willing to adapt to change
- Fluency in Portuguese is advantageous but not a must
