Angola LNG is recruiting a Senior Turbine & Compressor Instrumentation and Controls Specialist, to be based in Luanda, Angola.
Duties
- Plan and perform routine and major maintenance for instrumentation and controls for heavy-duty turbines, compressors and generators
- Develop contingency plan for the unit controls systems and provide recommendations for spare parts purchasing and equipment critical for return to service
- Train, coach and mentor national employees to develop their competency to plan and perform maintenance of instrumentation and controls for gas turbines, compressors and generators
- Navigate technical data, including manuals, drawings, field modifications, and develop required component lists
- Leader in the Reliability and Cost Efficiency optimization, By utilizing the ERIP processes as ECA and RCM studies
Requisites
- Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent technical degree with proven experience in the area)
- Minimum of ten (10) years of experience working closely with instrumentation and controls for the maintenance planning, major inspection execution, operations, and performance monitoring for gas turbines, compressors, and generators, including excitation equipment and relay protection is required
- Prior operations, maintenance, engineering, or technician experience with gas turbines, compressors and generators is required
- Demonstrated advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
