Shift / Bridge Supervisor

Duties

• It is the Shift/Bridge Supervisor’s duty to ensure:
• Safe and efficient operations in accordance with the Master's and Offshore Manager’s instructions, relevant legislation, and the Company's Management System
• Knowledge of, adherence to, and implementation of the Company's policies with respect to health and safety, environment, quality, security, anti-corruption, fraud, smoking and drugs and alcohol
• Ensure that the project crew is aware of their responsibilities and obligations, as required by the Management System as well as under the project plan
• The Shift/Bridge Supervisor, when conducting his duties, shall plan the vessel operation with Vessel Master and the Offshore Manager according to the project plan, always encompassing both the project safety analysis and the vessel safety management system, hereunder assure that 3rd party personnel and equipment is operated only under due on-board risk assessment
• The Shift/Bridge Supervisor shall, when leading the project crew, including 3rd party contractors, always promote the Company safety procedures and never compromise on these procedures

Requisites

• Minimum 10 years experience as Shift Supervisor or equivalent
• Subsea engineering education or other engineering
• Alternatively, other engineering such as electronics or Marine Captain
• Preferably have education in Hydraulics or electrics
• Project management education
• Safety courses
• Fluent in English, spoken and written
• Have international experience
