System & Process Optimization Analyst

Duties

• Support LTD Tax Manager on the development of policy and guidelines in respect of tax compliance, and communication to the service companies (OPCO and SOMG)
• Responsible for the analysis, asset tracking and reporting of all tax documentations for OPCO
• Develop and implement systems and procedural changes to improve the tax compliance and audit processes
• Act as the Tax Compliance point of contact with local tax authorities
• Support OPCO and LTD finance departments in resolving audit, compliance, planning and legislative issues
• Liaise with LTD Finance regarding tax reporting and analysis
• Manage OPCO 'SMINFIN audits and relationship with project sponsors regarding tax matters
• Provide tax compliance analysis and advice to OPCO on tax reform developments and changes, reporting potential impacts to ALNG
• Liaise with ALNG LTD Tax department and routinely engage with 3rd party tax advisory firm, and support the filing of tax returns
• Represent OPCO on tax issues at negotiations with the tax authorities
• Support OPCO Finance Manager to lead various tax and other ad-hoc projects as required
• Working with finance and SCM (Contracts) staff and with external service providers to ensure that ALNG companies fully comply with tax obligations
• Coordinate and provide training and guidelines to OpCo staff to ensure maximum tax compliance

Requisites

• Bachelor Degree in Business Administration/Economics/Accounting & Finance
• Minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience in finance/accounting associated with the Utilities & Processing Hydrocarbons plants Oil and Gas Industry, focused on Taxation and SAP-ERP/ABAP
• Adavanced knoweledge and Understanding of SAP-ECC - ERP (Central Components), Relevant SAP Modules such as FI/CO, MM-PU, MM-PM, MRP, HR, TV, SAP Database Administration, SAP Configuration, SAP Security and its impact, Subject Matter Expert (SME) in SAP data entry, Budgeting/Planning, Reporting, Month End/Year End Processing, workflow, Period Locks, Business Intelligence Analytics, etc.
• Expertise in developing/enhancing systems and applications to support business process improvements
• Expertise in SDLC( System Development Life Cycle) and ASAP (Accelerated SAP)
• Advanced knowledge ( Expert) in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access, Outlook) use and integration with SAP
• Preferred Candidates - Angolans
• Must be fluent in Portuguese in English
